Your best yet, Richard! I shall re-engage with my golfing amour this morning - oh for just one shot out of the screws!! And I shall measure my round in frequency and level of oxytocin release rather than impact on my handicap index! We all need an alternative measurement system right?! And, if all else fails, I shall remember rule #6!! Thank you!

Richard; what a lovely piece, you are right! Your new found love of life, brought out by your rediscovery of golf, is reflected in your developing and enticing writing. Reading this text made me feel quite justified and confirmed for me, my own addiction, amateur golf. Golf the game of life. I now, thanks to your insight, know I am right to love this game. A game I play or so badly and sometimes, sometimes, oh so well🏌️‍♂️Keep writing Richard. Till the next episode…👍

I have only just discovered the glory of these blog posts Richard. Quite wonderful. Maybe enough to make a downtrodden professional, long active in the ¨as far from the feeling of your blog as possible¨ world of Dutch golf, fall back in love. To regain the amour from bye gone days as a young amateur.

Richard, you know elsewhere of my admiration for your writing. In this piece I find echoes of your interest in the approach of Ben Zander and his wife. I discovered him in 2008 and tonight decided to revisit that poptech video after reading this. You haven’t included philosopher/psychologist in your self description. I wouldn’t if I were you. Just let others discover it from your work.
